Study VISA (Except Bhutanese and Nepalese students):

Obtaining an Indian Study Visa, endorsed by the name of Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab, India, is your own responsibility. It is advised to apply for your study visa well in time to avoid any kind of delay in reporting to the university campus within the prescribed period.

# Document Checklist required for filling FRRO

• 2 Passport Size Photographs
• Copy Of Passport
• Copy Of Visa
• Financial Resource Proof (Bank Statement of last 3 Months as a proof of Financial Proof)
• RESIDENCE PROOF: (if students staying in hostel)
  Residence Proof I.E. Updated Form 'C' Generated By Hotel.
  (Student not staying in hostel) Notarized Lease Deed Or Utility Bill Copy Along With Copy Of Photo-ID ( Aadhar Card )Of Landlord With Declaration.

# FORM C & FORM S

• FORM - C is for Students who will stay in Hostel.

# AFFIDAVIT attests from Notary.

# All Documents need to scan in pdf Format except Photograph. Size of Photograph should be less than 50KB & Size of pdf Documents should be less than 200KB.

# Online Appointment for FRO (Appointment Booking Days Monday to Friday).

# Student will get his/her FRO on their Email id.

# Foreign students are required to register at FRRO within 14 days of their arrival to India/Immigration stamp on their Passport.

# A penalty of ---- is imposed for delay in FRO process registration beyond 14 days.

# If student is going back in vacations or after completion of course, student needs the EXIT From Mohali FRO Office.

VISA Extension TAT would be 45 days.

VISA Extension Fee is extra as per the country norms of the student and need to pay in INR.
