Youth Festival - Mr. Ujjwal Sharma received the trophy for first position in singing event

Chandigarh University organized Punjab Youth Festival-2020 at the campus on dated 30th- January-2020.The students of 4th & 6th semester of Chemical Engineering participated in this festival. The event was organized for two days to take out the hidden talents of the students. These types of festivals encourage the students to participate and show their talent in different events to build their confidence. Also know about our culture by participating in different cultural oriented events. So the students participated in singing, dancing, and project exhibition events. The student of 8th semester Mr. Ujjwal Sharma won two first positions and one second position in different categories of singing events. Also the students of 6th semester displayed their project models in project exhibition events. Famous politicians, singers, dancers, musicians, researchers, and students throughout the country took part in this festival and show their talent in their respective areas. The students and faculty of Chandigarh University enjoyed this festival and learn many more things from this festival.

To enhance the technical and practical knowledge of students, Chemical Engineering department arranged an industrial tour program at Punjab Chemical and Crop Protection Ltd, Dera Bassi on dated 18/2/2020. Students of B.E. 6th semester visited to this industry to know the various industrial processes, production strategies, raw materials used, production, and supply(export) of various manufactured products in India and abroad.

Inequality about girl child is a vast problem which includes many areas like inequality in education, nutrition, legal rights, medical care, protection, honor, child marriage and so many others.
