CU student of Electrical Engineering , Sahil Rotra makes us proud to be a part of IEEE International Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Computers, Communication, Mechanical and Computing ( 28- 29 January 2018) at Tamil Nadu, India. Organized by IEEE Madras Section,this is one of the reputed conference in field of Electrical Engineering.

Expo Conference

Parmeet Singh, student, Electrical Engineering (EE) make us proud to be a part of 2017 Sensors Expo & Conference( 27- 29 June 2017) at McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA, USA. This Conference was organized by Questex LLC and one of the reputed conference in field of Engineering held in U.S.A. Parmeet Singh presented his #research on Sensors at the conference and was well applauded.

Thus to inculcate the students with the vast potentials in the field of future innovation- AEROSPACE ENGINEERING, Chandigarh University organized Aero-Modeling Competition on the occasion of Engineers Day.

Winning Mr. Title

Himalayan Rotract is held every year where participants come from different clubs colleges and take part in different competitions like group dance, talent hunt and many more. Grabbing the titles of Mr. 3080 second year in a row. Student and Rotractor Himank Kakkar of Chandigarh University of EEE dept. Made CU shine at Intercity this year.

Environment Award

Department of Electrical Engineering, Chandigarh University is awarded as the “School with Safest Environment Award” at Indian Education Awards 2019 held at New Delhi. The award was given by Andrei I. Rzheussky, Ambassador, Republic of Belarus to university representative Dr.Inderpreet Kaur, Head- Electrical Engineering, Chandigarh University.

Industrial Visit

Our Electrical Engineering students gained insight into the basic principles of power system equipments and protection auxiliaries used in the distribution of power by visiting 66KV substation. This visit was organized by electrical engineering department for students to put their theoretical learning into practice and gain a better understanding of the end to end processes.

Research Paper Award

CU student Ehsanul Haque Peerzadah from Department of Electrical Engineering has been awarded with the Best Research Paper Award @ 3rd IEEE International Conference On ICEECCOT-2018.

Springer International Conference

Dr. Inderpreet Kaur, Prof. and Head, Electrical Engineering Department, chaired special session in Springer International Conference on Cognitive Informatics and Soft Computing. She discussed about Smart Technologies interfaced in a system and her session chair was adjudged as best session chair.
