Phytochemical and Pharmacological Screening of Plant piper Retrofracturn

The Piper Retrofractum plant is used in insect repellant. Using the traditional knowledge, we are trying to investigate its property to invent an herbal insect repellant which is free from side effects.

This product will not only provide the side effect free mosquito and insect repellant, but also an economic product for the common man.

Formulation and evaluation of Transdermal Patches for treatment of Asthma

Transdermal patches are a sophisticated plaster which is applied on to the skin. This is a latest form which is not much available in the market.

The transdermal patches will give ease from drug administration. The successful completion of this project will alleviate the trauma of the patient of asthma and will give better management of disease.

Synthesis, design and evaluation of pro-drugs and its formulations in the form of transdermal drug delivery systems for treatment of depression, schizophrenia and related disorders.

This project deals with the formulation of antidepressants into transdermal patches. This sophisticated system is applied onto the skin and drug passes into the blood by crossing the layers of the skin.

Successful completion of this project will help the patients of depression with economic and effective therapy. In depression sometimes patient stops taking medication and sometimes miss the dose, but with transdermal patches this problem can be easily solved.
