1. PEOs, POs & PSOs - B.Sc. Travel & Tourism Management

PEO-1: To establish a learning environment through which graduates of travel and tourism will contribute to managerial positions in the tourism industry at local, national, and international levels.

PEO-2: To provide graduates with the knowledge that will allow them to work well in teams or groups, be capable of taking the initiative, enhance their critical thinking and planning skills, and also improve their communication Skills.

PEO-3: To confer a diverse environment that fortifies research, leadership, and entrepreneurship skills among graduates.

PEO-4: To provide specialized technical training and exposure to the graduates so that they learn and adopt new skills and techniques through experiential learning and develop proficiency in new-age technologies.

PEO-5: To inculcate an ethical attitude among graduates, enabling them to formulate, analyze, and investigate real-life problems with a logical mindset.

After completing the program, graduates will be able to:

PO 1- Disciplinary Knowledge: Contextualize the knowledge of the tourism discipline in terms of culture, economy, environment, and politics within society, to effectively work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

PO 14- Autonomy, responsibility, and accountability: Develop the ability to act and make decisions to motivate others, bring about changes, solve conflicts, take risks, assess the market, make an effective judgment, or establish a business.

PO 15- Environmental awareness and action: Provide knowledge of environment-friendly tourism products within the framework of the tourism industry and the contemporary business environment, including the current trends of the tourism market, related policies, and relevant issues.

PO 16- Community engagement and serviceEnhancement of knowledge through community-related activities like engaging in social welfare campaigns, participating in donation camps, contributing to National and International social services, and empowering NGOs by consistently supporting them.

PO 17- Empathy: Explore the areas of human behavior, group behavior, workforce diversity, and emotional intelligence to identify the differences in other people’s thought patterns and emotions.

PSO-1: Assess the emerging trends in the tourism sector to cater to the customer satisfactorily.

PSO-2: Design tourism products such as holiday packages, conferences, events, etc. as per market research and customer satisfaction.

PSO-3: Start entrepreneurial ventures related to the operations for transportation, accommodation, sightseeing, documentation, activities, and other amenities of the Tourism Industry
