Architecture is the art and science of building design that develop the concepts for structures and turn those concepts into reality. Architecture often includes imagination; the ability to order ideas and communicate them clearly; a keen interest in human behaviour, our habitat and the natural environment; and problem solving skills. In developing designs, architects follow building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other ordinances, such as those fulfil the universal design criteria. Computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) and building information modeling (BIM) technology has replaced traditional paper and pencil as the most common method for creating design and construction drawings. Architects are licensed professionals and authorized to work with prescribed instructions of regulatory council.
Eligibility Criteria : 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level exam.
10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with 50% aggregate marks and subject to an aptitude test in Architecture (NATA).
In addition to eligibility of 10+2/Diploma, he/ she must have obtained 40% pass marks in each subject of the JEE Part 2 exam OR Qualified NATA.
Eligibility Criteria : Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a Bachelors of Architecture degree programme or Equivalent.
