Course Description

The course provides fundamental concepts and importance of Low dimensional materials. The students will be introduced to the fabrications and characterization techniques used for low dimensional materials. It will enhance ability of students to address new problems in the rapidly changing technological scenario.

Dr. Pawan Kumar

Dr. Pawan Kumar is working as Assistant Professor Physics in the Department of Physics, University Institute of Sciences, Chandigarh University India. He received the Ph.D. in Physics from the Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in 2018. He has expertise in synthesis and characterization of low dimensional semiconductors . He has 5 years of Teaching assistantship experience during PhD from IIT BHU and 5 years of Teaching experience in Department of Physics, UIS, Chandigarh University. Dr. Pawan Kumar Published 27 research papers in international peer reviewed journals and 17 Scopus index Book Chapter. His research interest includes low dimensional materials, pure and doped ZnO nanoparticles and thin film for optoelectronic devices. functionalized ZnO-Polymer composite for 3D printing application.
