In the age of globalization, the world is becoming more interconnected, and educational institutions are looking for ways to enhance their global reach. Chandigarh University is one such institution that has been welcoming inbound mobility from various countries, including Azerbaijan.

In February 2022, Chandigarh University welcomed 93 students from Azerbaijan who were interested in studying one semester at CU. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the students joined the university virtually and successfully indulged in our community, completing their global journey with us.

The inbound mobility program has been designed to provide students with a unique opportunity to study in a new environment, gain cross-cultural experience, and broaden their horizons. The program has been a resounding success, and students from Azerbaijan have been no exception.The students from Azerbaijan were able to experience the academic rigor and cultural diversity of Chandigarh University. They were able to interact with students from different parts of India and other countries, sharing their experiences and perspectives. The program helped them gain a deeper understanding of India's rich culture and heritage.

Apart from academic and research opportunities, the program also provided students with an opportunity to participate in various cultural and social events at the university. The program helped students create lasting memories and forge new friendships across borders.

The inbound mobility program has been a win-win for both Chandigarh University and the students from Azerbaijan. The program has helped Chandigarh University enhance its global reach and promote cross-cultural exchange. The program has also helped students from Azerbaijan gain a unique perspective on India's culture, education, and research landscape.
