Construction Technology and Management is the specialization of civil engineering which involves the development of cost-effective and sustainable construction techniques and implementing the latest available technique for the construction of civil engineering structures. It also deals with project management which includes estimating the cost of the project, designing the pathway to complete the project on time. Chandigarh University provides the facility of skill development to its students along with the theoretical and software knowledge and prepares the students to use this skill and knowledge for the development of cost-effective and sustainable construction techniques and the method of estimating the cost of a project.
The two-year PG program encourages research as per the industrial demand by providing world-class research facilities and collaborating with international universities and industries. CU gives an opportunity to the students to learn the latest software such as PRIMAVERA, MS Project, REVIT-BIM by providing words class computer lab facilities to meet the industrial requirement.
