FRRO Process

(Not applicable in case of Nepalese and Bhutanese students):

As per the Indian Immigration Law, all students having a valid Indian visa of more than 180 days must obtain a residential permit from the local Foreigner Registration Office (FRO).

It is strongly advised to complete your FRO/Police Registration process within the first 14 days of arrival in India. For delay in FRO registration beyond 14 days, penalties will be levied for Late Registration.

A separate FRO Helpdesk (not applicable for Nepalese and Bhutanese) is set up at CU Campus (Block A1 ). International students can report to the International Admissions Dept. for the FRO registration process.
