Mess Rules

All hostel students must have meals in the mess as long as they are on the rolls.
Strict discipline and proper decorum will be maintained in the dining hall.
Students are not allowed to visit the kitchen or store area.
No meals from other hostels are allowed.
Menu is designed by the mess committee and approved by DSW.
Seasonal availability of fruits/vegetables is ensured.
Menu changes only with DSW Office permission.
Menu is displayed on hostel notice boards.
Parents may dine as guests with prior Hostel Authority permission.
Food can be taken to the room only with warden’s permission if the student is ill.
Students must avoid food wastage.
Self-service system is followed in all messes.
Biometric authentication is mandatory to receive meals
Students must follow designated mess timings.
Misbehavior with mess staff will be treated as indiscipline.
Providing quality food is a privilege, not a right.
No utensils or food are allowed in hostel rooms.
