They are the broad statements that describe the career and professional accomplishments that the program is preparing graduates to achieve.

PEO-1: To promote an understanding about fashion and textile design in relation to the needs of fashion, contractual furnishing, home textiles and textile industry.

PEO-2: To provide hands-on experience by using a set of industrial based technologies helping in developing prototypical solutions related to current needs.

PEO-3: To provide experience in responding to market opportunities with creative and innovative products that integrate a set of academic discipline such as textile materials, design fundamentals, sourcing, data mining of market information and new developments.

PEO-4: To create an educational environment that replicates the actual conditions of industry and a community of creativity and innovation leading to research and entrepreneurship.

PEO-5: To provide students strong fundamental concepts, techniques, tools related to fashion and design in order to enable them to build solutions or systems of varying complexities.

Program outcomes describe what students are expected to know and would be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge and behaviors that students acquire as they progress through the program.

PO-1: Design Knowledge: Graduates will learn the skills required to become professionals through the practical and theoretical study of textile, apparel, fashion and design.

PO-2: Problem Analysis: Graduates will develop the ability to collaborate with different government organizations and NGO’s effectively to work on creative projects with problem solving attitude.

PO-3: Design/Development of Solutions: Graduates will be able to focus on creative approach of developing designs and innovative solutions through learned traditional and contemporary technologies.

PO-4: Conduct Investigations of complex problem: Graduates will be able to develop an eye for the analysis of the complexities arising in the supply chain and other areas of fashion industry.

PO-5: Modern Tool Usage: Graduates will be able to understand the applicability of new technologies related to design development, material choices, manufacturing and distribution of fashion in global market.

PO-6: Design and Society: Graduates will be able to articulate their ideas to contribute to different sectors of society like information technology, hotel management and film industry.

PO-7: Environment and Sustainability: Graduate will gain knowledge about the environmental aspects of textiles and fashion industry and will be able to provide sustainable competitive edge in meeting industrial demands.

PO-8: Ethics: Graduates will be able to work ethically in all areas of industry related to fashion, textile and apparel.

PO-9: Individual and Teamwork: Graduates will be able to work in a team with a forward-thinking ability to promote their inventive personal design vision through creative work and research.

PO-10: Communication: Graduates will learn to communicate their ideas and creative inputs to global fashion industry by creating fashion images, using multimedia and digital technologies, and will be able to explore illustration potential in branding, editorial platforms, advertising and graphic design.

PO-11: Project Management and Finance: Graduates will develop entrepreneurial opportunities for themselves and others by developing product related to health, welfare, safety and will serve the society effectively.

PO-12: Life Long Learning: Graduate will be able to continue the learning process by upgrading themselves with new technologies and requirements related to ever growing design & fashion industry.

Program Specific Outcomes are the statements that describe what the graduates of a specific program should be able to do.

PSO-1: Students will be able to attain successful career options globally, by effective communication of their ideas and implementation of creative inputs, not only as fashion designers but also as merchandiser, art director, film and theatre costume designer, fashion photographer and stylist.

PSO-2: By the means of entrepreneurship development; students will be able to generate employment for others and thus rather being job seekers, they will become job providers; which will be the result of creative approach, innovative solutions and study of consumer behavior through traditional and latest digital technologies.

PSO-3: Students will be able to identify their position in various subfields of apparel, fashion and allied industries like e-commerce, retail, branding and marketing, luxury and high value product markets; after completion of their bachelor’s degree by virtue of specialization which otherwise requires further education.
