Workshop on Robotics (VEX Kits)

A workshop was organized by department of Mechatronics Engineering on Robotics which was held on 13th Oct, 2016. The purpose of the workshop was to provide students hands on experience with VEX robotic kits. A presentation was given by representatives of VEX Robotics along with demonstration of robotic model to students.

Workshop on Robotics (LEGO Kits)

A workshop was organized by department of Mechatronics Engineering on Robotics-LEGO KITS on 31st January 2017. The purpose of the workshop was make students understand the concept of Gears, Reciprocating Motion, Converting rotational motion to linear motion and vice-versa. Students also understood the real world application of the concepts learnt by building a 4X4 powered robot.

The pupose of the workshop was to provide students hands on experience of interfacing several components with numerous Texas development boards. Student groups were formed and they were asked to write a simple line following code for robotics buggy control.

More than 100 Students of Mechatronics Engineering and 3 Faculty members attended the session. The speaker enlightened his vast experience with the students about process and procedure of filing patents, copyright and trademark.
