Chandigarh University follows a practice-driven curriculum that combines creativity with technical training. Students gain hands-on experience in garment construction, pattern making, textile dyeing and printing, fashion illustration, and trend forecasting while developing innovative garments and accessories.
Students learn in specialised Garment Construction Labs, Pattern Making Labs, and Textile Dyeing & Printing Studios. These well-equipped facilities allow students to design, prototype, and produce garments through real studio-based learning.
The programme integrates digital fashion tools such as CLO 3D, Tukatech, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and CorelDRAW to train students in digital design, fashion communication, and modern garment visualisation techniques.
Students receive strong industry exposure through workshops by designers, field visits, and collaboration with apparel companies. Graduates have secured placements with brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Arvind Fashions, ZARA, Reliance Brands, and Vero Moda.
CUCET is not compulsory for admission. However, students can take the test to get up to 100% scholarship.
