The latest NIRF Rankings in 2021 have witnessed CU scaling up the ranks in numerous disciplines. Similarly, the Architecture division of Chandigarh University has also made quite an improvement in its performance and NIRF Rankings.
Rated on the basis of five different parameters set National Institutional Ranking Framework, CU’s Architecture division (or the University Institute of Architecture) has made its entry into the Top 20 institutions.
Rated amongst the top Architecture Colleges in North India, CU's UIA has been ranked #16 among the Best Architecture Institutions in the country.
The ranking was awarded on the basis of UIA’s performance and NIRF’s five parameters. Among these five, Teaching, Learning & Resources; Graduation Outcome along with Outreach and Inclusivity were rated highly by the NIRF.
With an overall score of 54.41, CU secured 68.93 in Teaching, Learning & Resources, 82.75 in Graduation Outcome and 72.71 in Outreach & Inclusivity.

Programs and Eligibility
Chandigarh University offers both graduation and postgraduation in Architecture.

The eligibility criteria for the Bachelors in Architecture (B. Arch) program is as follows:
10+2 Pass with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects OR passed in 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The candidate needs to qualify for the mandatory Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council.
The eligibility criteria for the Masters in Architecture (M. Arch) program is as follows:
Minimum of 50% aggregate marks in a Bachelors of Architecture degree programme or equivalent degree recognized by Council of Architecture.
Scholarships

At Chandigarh University, you can either apply for CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test) or the Architecture Scholarship on the Basis of your Nata/JEE (Main) Score.
The CUCET offers you up to 100% Scholarship on your course fee, while the Architecture Scholarship depends upon your NATA or JEE (Mains) score.
