A Globally Reputed Program in Automobile Engineering

Automobile engineers design, test and develop vehicles and/or components from concept through to production, and are involved in improving the vehicle in response to customer feedback. It covers a wide range of engineering disciplines e.g. mechanical and electronics engineering. It deals with the technology in the context of modern motor vehicle developments and environmental safety issues. This course is ideal for a student if he/she would like a career within the automobile industry and to develop a comprehensive range of related skills. The Program, M.E in Automobile Engineering was started in 2015 under the University Institute of Engineering, Department of Automobile Engineering, Chandigarh University. The department of Automobile Engineering, at CU, fulfills the requirement of acquisition of various skills by well-designed curriculum, taking into consideration global problems through the practical training, project work, industrial visits, guest lectures and exposure to various Automobile Engineering Hands-on Practice programs.

The well-qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and supporting staff are striving hard tirelessly to improve the quality of education through effective teaching learning process. Being the best Automobile Engineering institute in India, we offer specialized knowledge ranging from Vehicle Engine Technology to Automotive Electronics. Teaching methodology at the Department of Automobile Engineering ensures a perfect balance of theory and practical learning throughout the two years of course. The Department houses fifteen laboratories including exclusive Industry sponsored laboratories with the latest equipment and software for enriching the practical experience of students. Early bird scholarship to the Master of Engineering Programs as per following conditions:

  • 15 (Fifteen) percent scholarship to be given to the students who have completed Bachelor of Engineering from Chandigarh University, provided they pay full semester fee at the time of admission.
