SRISHTI - Sustainable Research and Innovation in Shaping Hospitality and Tourism Industry is the modern impression innovated by University Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Chandigarh University , provides an approach of Knowledge Resource Centre having a scale of multiple research activities like – Conferences, FDPs, MDPs, Workshops, Conclaves , Seminars etc. SRISHTI is an acronym for the academic community's dedication to promoting a culture of ongoing learning, creativity, and information sharing. With the help of the SRISHTI, academicians, researchers, and students will have a vibrant space to conduct cutting-edge research, and exchange ideas and their careers.

The initiative aims to explore top-tier talent, improve the institution's academic reputation and advance knowledge across a range of fields by fostering a research-centric culture. Exposure to the new trends, practical research experiences and chances to network with subject matter experts will all be an advantage to participants or members. With this endeavour, UITHM hopes to establish itself as a centre for innovative thinking, top-notch research and the development of a blossoming academic community that is committed to expanding human knowledge. SRISHTI program effectiveness will be evaluated based on the amount and calibre of research outputs produced as well as the favourable effects it has on national and international faculty participation, student/scholar/participant learning outcomes and the academic environment as a whole.



About the Conference

The 1st International Conference on the theme ‘Innovation and Regenerative Trends in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry’ under the umbrella of ‘SRISHTI’ will be held on the 14th, 15th & and 16th March 2024, bringing together corporate professionals, academicians, and innovators. This conference encourages academician engagement and networking by sharing ideas, research, and practical insights. Innovation and regenerative trends drive the conference's exploration of sustainable practices and transformational tourism and hospitality initiatives. The Tracks with multiple fields have already been shared separately (not limited to) in the brochure/template.

Along with this, renowned keynote speakers, industry professionals, and academicians will discuss tourism and hospitality's contemporary issues and potential. The conference promotes knowledge sharing and creative problem-solving to solve current difficulties and create a more sustainable and regenerative tourism and hospitality business. It fosters research and innovation that meets the demands of a globalized and conscious travel and hospitality community.
