Microsoft Azure LAAS (Learning as a Service)

A digital learning platform and new approach to learning, as a total Learning-as-a-Service offering by Microsoft, in support of Developers, Infrastructure and Architects using Microsoft Azure and other technologies.

Infor Lab

In Infor under Education Alliance Program (EAP), I, Dr. Amit Jain, Associate Professor (UIC) is providing training to students (MCA & CSE) on Implementing ERP Business Software. The training is of 12 weeks duration on Infors Cloud Suite Industrial (CSI).

Red Hat Academy Lab

It provides a platform where students can test their skill-set on Red Hat. Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source solutions, including high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.

Google Android Lab

Google Android Lab at University Institute of Computing provides the student to work on the latest features regarding Android Mobile Application Development released by Google for Android. Activities like workshops, Expert Talks, Competitions are conducted so that students can sharpen their skills in Android Application. It also helps students to groom their Skill for Industry ready by working on live projects.

FOSS (Free Open Source Software) Center in Collaboration with Spoken Tutorial IIT Bombay

IIT Bombay-FOSS Spoken Tutorial project is the initiative of ‘Talk to a Teacher’ activity of National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), launched by Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India, where students and faculty can enhance their technical skill-set by undergoing online training in the Open Source Software & Technology and hence an attempt to increase employability.

Tech Mahindra IMS Academy

Tech Mahindra Ltd, a specialist provider of connected solutions to the connected world had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chandigarh University to teach students industry ready skills in the field of IT Infrastructure Management Services (IMS). Oracle Academy offers a hands-on technical experience to prepare students for both IT and business careers and provides faculty with professional development resources to further their own careers.

Cloud Computing Lab

This lab makes students ready for different cloud provider practical. Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services—servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, intelligence and more—over the Internet to offer faster innovation, flexible resources and economies of scale.

Desktop Publishing Lab

This lab gives hands-on skills in Photoshop and general applications of Computer Science. Desktop publishing is an in-demand ability that is used by anyone doing it themselves, or for large corporations who are constantly in need of documents and marketing material.

Web Designing Lab

In the Web Designing lab, students learn about website development and designing.

Linux Administration Lab

In this lab, students get to know about Linux OS and different commands of Linux and shell script.

Mobile Application Lab

Android and the other latest mobile technologies are taught in this lab. Mobile app development is the act or a process by which a mobile app is developed for mobile devices, such as personal digital assistants, enterprise digital assistants or mobile phones.

C++ Programming Lab

In this lab, students learn about OOPs concepts and various applications of C++.
