Interior Design Workshops for Building a Better Tomorrow.

The course structure of the Interior Design program at Chandigarh University perfectly inculcates a large number of activities like workshops, expert sessions, industrial visits, etc. to nurture the creativity of the budding Interior Designers and give them industry insight.

An industrial visit to INT-EXT EXPO 2020 was organised for the students of 2nd and 4th semester to explore the interior and exterior exhibition along with the trends going on in the market. The objective of this was to provide knowledge of the latest trends and technology to our students to turn their dream projects into reality.

The Departments of B. Design (Industrial Design and Interior Design) of Chandigarh University organized an Expert Session (Creative Vision) by Ms. Shashi Gulleria for students of the Industrial Design and Interior Design Department to enhance their skills on 5th April, 2022 (10:00 am – 1:00pm). Ms. Shashi Gulleria is currently working in PIDILITE company and has 8 years of work experience. The expert talk was organized so that the students could get hands on experience of the level of hard work, patience, perseverance and dedication.

The Departments of B.Sc. Interior Design of Chandigarh University organized a Club activity on “Sustainable Materials in Design” for Interior Design students. The expert for this activity was Ms. Sakshi Nag (Architect and self-Practice).

The club activity was based on using different types of sustainable materials in the field of design, and various techniques for surface finishing in the interior spaces were also discussed. The expert talk was organized so that students become familiar with different innovative materials.
