Workshop on hands on Practice for Four Wheeler Repair and Service

Automobile engineering department arranged One day Workshop on hands on Practice for Four Wheeler Repair and Service To train the students with “Hands on practice” on the latest electronically controlled engine diagnostics skills for latest Automobiles that are in place to improvise the students technical diagnosing skills. The latest technology of MG Motors was explored by students. The process for changing of engine oil and air filter was demonstrated to students. Working of MG Cars new engines is demonstrated along with the working of all vital MG Motor Hectar car component systems like cooling system, braking system, transmission and exhaust system.

Wheel Balancing by Mahindra & Mahindra T-School Lab

The basic knowledge and practical experience to every student for the balancing of the four wheelers provided in this workshop so that they can balance four wheelers without any hesitation. Balancing of two front tyres of Mahindra logan car. (Using 10 gram weight) done by the students in Lab.

Designing of various parts of the vehicles

The various things was shared to the students regarding Designing of various parts of the vehicles like autodynamics shape of the cars, brake designing, interior designing of the various vehicles. The basic knowledge and practical experience to every student for the various designing pars of the four wheelers provided in this workshop so that they can design of four wheelers without any hesitation.

Workshop on Emission Control and emission norms in India

The various things was shared to the students regarding emission norms, emission controls and various rules passed by the government for the emission so that overall pollution can be controlled in the environment.

Denting and Painting in Collaboration with Bawa Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. & Bharij Industries Pvt. Ltd.

Event was for the UG and PG students to learn how to remove dents from car and further to repair them .In addition to it different level of Painting was experienced by Workshop last long for 2 days enriching our engineers with practical essence of surface engineering

Workshop on Fuel Injector Pumps and Injectors working

The things done in that workshop was as follows:

• Assemble and disassembly of fuel injector pump of Mahindra marshal jeep.
• Changing the primary and secondary filters of pump.
• Study the working of fuel injectors.
• Removal of air bubble trapped in the injector pumps.

Two wheeler Service Techniques (A National Level Workshop)

Automobile Department of Chandigarh University tries to give Practical Two Wheeler Service Technique knowledge to the students. The various things was shared to the students regarding servicing of vehicles such as Oil and Filter Change, Air Filter, Spark Plugs, Drive Chain adjustment, Oiling Cables, Oiling Lever and Pivots, Clutch adjustment, brake pads, and setting of engine idle speed.
