Advanced Preparation for a Secured & Bright Future.

PO-1: Students will be acquainted with the research methodologies in biological sciences, including statistical and phylogenetic software skills.

PO-2: They will be equipped to apply these methods to address the selected research problem with critical thinking and adequate skills through surveys, wet labs, and in-silico methods.

PO-3: Adequate awareness will be obtained to follow the research ethics and plagiarism.

PO-4: The overall knowledge gained will be helpful to the students to generate a core value of the subject and help them for proper dissemination to the academic and social community.

PSO-1: Two courses in the Ph.D. program would deal with diverse topics based on the research areas and research proposal of the Ph.D. program.

PSO-2: The major research areas include Plant Tissue culture, Taxonomy, Phycology, Mycology, Ethno-medicine, Ecology and environment, Plan Physiology, Plant Biodiversity, Genetics, Reproductive Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology etc.

PSO-3: The scholars will be equipped to pursue innovative research in the area mentioned earlier and enable them to conduct original research addressing the regional, national, and global challenges on identification, climatic, ecological, toxicological issues, as well as issues related to aquaculture, and develop a sustainable solution.

How to Apply?

Step 1 - Signup

Sign up or Register for CUCET with basic details (Name, Email ID, Mobile No., State, Gender and Password). Your Email ID will act as your Username for the portal while the password will be set by you upon registration.

On successful registration, you will receive the confirmation message on your registered contact number and Email. Use the Username and Password to Login to your CUCET Account.

Step 2 - Apply

After successfully creating your candidate profile for CUCET, you can proceed with choosing the Date for your examination. Complete your profile by logging into your CUCET account and choose an examination date as per your convenience and preference.

Step 3 - Submit

You become eligible for admission into Chandigarh University after clearing the CUCET examination. Following your attempt at CUCET, the result will shortly be intimated, based on which you can submit your application for admission and avail merit-based scholarship.
