Course Description
The course Basics of Taxation and GST provides an introduction to the structure and functioning of the Indian taxation system. It helps students understand the concept, need, and types of taxes, including both Direct and Indirect Taxes. The course familiarizes learners with key provisions of tax laws and the practical aspects of taxation in India. Special emphasis is given to the concept, framework, and functioning of Goods and Services Tax (GST). Through this course, students develop conceptual clarity about taxation, gain practical knowledge of tax compliance and GST procedures, and understand the impact of GST on business operations and economic activities in the modern financial environment.
Course Objectives
