B.Sc. (Hons.) CSM / B.Sc. (Hons.) CSM with Research at University Institute of Sciences, is a Four-year undergraduate program that aims to provide multidisciplinary expertise in Mathematical Sciences, Numerical Methods for Problem Solving, Statistical Modelling, and Scientific Computing. This course focuses on developing mathematical skills in Algebra, Calculus, Data Analysis, and Computing. The program gives knowledge about computer facilities, smooth handling and functioning of wide and local area networking, how to take care of hardware and software upgrading, technical analysis and to manage system designing, etc.

The degree is three years of duration and also course syllabus (Theory) is divided into three years. After completing the course candidates have a lot of career opportunities in different spheres.

Associate Director, Mathematics

Dr. Harish Nagar is currently working as Professor and Associate Director, Department of Mathematics, University Institute of Sciences, Chandigarh University. He is Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Kota, Master of Science from Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University, Ajmer. He has more than 19 years of teaching and administrative experience. He has invited for research presentation and talks on his research in Beijing, China, Seattle USA, Baltimore USA, etc. He has been awarded research funding through the Science and Engineering Research Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, Indian National Science Academy, Government of India and The International Council for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM).
