AUD $1000 Award

A team of 5 students from Civil Engineering, Chandigarh University participated in “Technology Infusion Grand Challenge” organized by La Trobe University, Australia from 30th August 2018 – 31st July 2019. A team has been awarded AUD $1000 to develop their prototype of the “Smart City” concept.

Cadet Award

Ms. Muskan Boparai, student of Civil Engineering, Chandigarh University got All India Best Girl Cadet Award at “All India Nau Saini Camp- 2018” held at Karwar from October 13th to 22nd, 2018. As many as 680 cadets from 17 NCC directorates took part in the competition. The cadets excelled in professional competitions like ship modelling, boat pulling, semaphore and firing.

Mr. Jatin Fishta, student of Civil Engineering, Chandigarh University got 1st position in “Young Climate Change Inter University Debate, IRADe” held at US Embassy, New Delhi” on 30th May, 2018.

University Challenge India

A team of 3 students (VarunZakhmi, VishuKamboj and Kanwalpreet Kaur) from Civil Engineering, Chandigarh University bagged 2nd prize in University Challenge India powered by IFAT and DWA held on September 28th-30th, 2016 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai.

Dr. Kanwarpreet Singh and Dr. Sushindra Kumar Gupta Attended 'NGP-DST' Summer School on Geospatial Technologies (Level 1) conducted from 21 April, 2022 to 11 May, 2022 by Punjab Remote Sensing Center, Ludhiana and supported by National Geospatial Program (NGP) - Department of Science and Technology, Govt Of India, New Delhi by providing hands-on training to the trainees on various aspects of Geospatial Science and Technology and interacted with the participants.
